I had this one on the train home from my Aomori vacation. The fish was soft and quite flavorful. The rice was cheap. The presentation beautiful. Had this with some apple juice because Aomori is famous for apples.

On the train to Aomori station after two
Days of hotsprings and fun in the sun. The rice on this one was quite good, the fish eggs the right textures. The mushrooms were a little odd flavor but not bad. Good stuff. Will make a video with this one for sure.

This came with ticket to Aomori, so even though it had a 1000 yen value, it was essentially free. It was a good balance of flavors and the rice was fresh. A good bento, and good memories. Will make a video blog for sure.

I suppose this isn't a "bento" in the traditional sense but I thought it was a good change of pace. And cold soba is perfect for summer. The noodles on this one were a little bland and the rice on the sushi was cheap. Wasnt bad, but not really life changing good either. I took a quick video of this but not sure I'll blog about it.

This one was a bit pricy. The rice came in three varieties. All varieties were gummy but that might have been intentional this time. The fillet was perfect dry but juicy at the same time. Not really worth the price but a good dinner. Took a video so might make a video blog about. Oh my god, I'm having so many bento these days! :)
